Read your answer engine report

Find your latest visibility audit, inspect its evidence and recommended pages, and understand when a fresh audit or support review is needed.

Reviewed

Use the answer engine report to inspect a saved Visibility Audit and decide which website improvements deserve attention. The report combines fetched discovery resources with generated assessments and content suggestions. It is separate from traffic analytics and does not continuously monitor every AI answer.

Open the right report#

In Answer Cloud, open the available Visibility Audit report for your organization. Check its domain, model, and run date before reading the score. The report offers a recent-audit selector when earlier runs are available. A shared report link identifies a particular audit; treat its contents as shareable before sending the link elsewhere.

Your agent can retrieve the latest matching report:

{
  "site_slug": "example-site"
}

Send those arguments to get_aeo_report, including the selected organization_id when required by the connection. To inspect a known earlier audit, add its numeric report_id. Inspect the returned domain: the site name in the response is your requested context, while the audit's domain identifies the source actually assessed.

Read evidence before choosing work#

Report area What to inspect
Technical foundation Fetched robots, sitemap, and discovery-file results, including the host checked.
Brand/entity Generated company summary, agreement with your description, differences, and supporting links.
Market presence The generated category, vendor list, reasons, and evidence URLs.
LLM inclusion Sample questions, generated answers, and the URLs used for them.
Recommended pages Proposed topics, summaries, funnel stage, and priority suggestions.

Open important evidence links. A reachable link establishes access, not that it supports every generated statement. Check your company name, offering, eligibility, pricing, and limitations against current published facts.

Refresh and compare carefully#

get_aeo_report reads a stored audit; it does not start or refresh one. Run another audit using the audit action available to your account. If that action is unavailable, contact support with the organization, intended domain, and latest report date. Repeatedly retrieving the same report cannot update its evidence.

If aeo_report_not_found is returned, check the site and organization, then arrange the first audit. Preserve any existing report ID when asking for help with a specific result.

Compare domains, dates, model, and evidence coverage before comparing totals. The current audit includes legacy companion-domain assumptions, so a missing discovery resource on a derived AI subdomain can affect a valid standalone website's result. Review the methodology before treating a score difference as an improvement or regression.

Turn reviewed findings into work with the content planning guide.
